OUR OPINION
Below is our review of this sweet new bike!
As often happens in winter, we had the chance to test this beautiful DH whip on the same day we got a load of fresh snow on the nearby hills. We rode the Sender on the local trails and we had heaps of fun in the fresh snow, but it will be been better to spend a long weekend in a bike park to truly appreciate its capabilities.

At first sight, the Sender appears aggressive, with a characteristically thin top tube and clearly robust construction. When our riders first had a look at the bike their immediate reactions were that the frame should provide both a stable platform and a reactive gritty shred down the mountain, all at once. We had very little time to take photos of our riders testing the sender between snow storms, but I assure you it was a gas!
The bike we tested did not have a stock build, so we will stay focused on the handling characteristics of the overall bike. Rider positioning on the bike was nicely centralized, making for a fun and nimble feeling in the turns. The bike felt comfortable to pilot, and very well balanced from axle to axle. The rear suspension platform plants the bike well for proper traction and confidence inspiring control. The sender truly feels equally at home on flow as it does in technical rocky rooty sections. We also got a chance to take the bike in the air a few times, and really enjoyed the way it handled jumps with proper DH aplomb.

CANYON DICE
If the thought of testing some Rampage lines really gets your heart pumping, then you’ll love to add the Sender CF 8.0 to your collection of DH racers. With a similar setup to the one used by freeride phenom Thomas Genon at Redbull Rampage, this is a DH bike that can handle sending gaps and taking huge landings. The geometry of the Sender has been designed to keep you absolutely in control of your lines, while the Fox air suspension helps build the momentum on the track.
