MDE bikes presents the new Enduro / AllMountain frame, completely redesigned, with new I-LINK 2.0 suspension, new design, new pins and oversized bearings; more rigid, lighter, more performing. MDE's goal is to make the best Enduro / Am aluminum frame on the market. Orderable immediately on the new website www.mdebikes.com, first deliveries starting from the end of September / beginning of October, it is available in both 29 "wheels and 27.5" wheels
In designing the new suspension all the points of the virtual pivot system were repositioned and the change was so great that in the end it was decided to rename the I-link 2.0 system. A fixed point that MDE has given itself was to obtain space for a classic bottle cage, above the down tube. The second goal, achieved with the new suspension design, was to shorten the rear length by 5mm: now the new values are 439mm for 29 "and 425mm for the 27.5". The new suspension proved even more stable in pedaling than the previous one which was already excellent, it also has greater progressiveness due to a plush effect in increased absorption while maintaining a remarkable reactivity. The dimensions of the suspension pins have been increased and new oversized bearings have been introduced made to MDE specifications by the American Enduro Bearings, which guarantee greater rigidity and resistance without increasing weight, redesigned both suspension rods with the shorter lower one and compact and the upper one with an open design that embraces the vertical tube.
All the rear stays have been revised with new CNC parts and new, more linear and lighter lines. The design of the new wagon has been optimized to facilitate cleaning and mud removal. The front triangle tubes are also completely redesigned and made by hydroforming. A new tapered head tube with zero stack standard is introduced both above (44mm) and below (56mm) and a new zero stack headset built with increased driving tolerance to ensure a perfect and durable fit. The new front triangle design with the tapered and more linear upper tube has saved over 150g of the entire structure. The new frame is therefore lighter by around 150 / 200g compared to the previous one based on the size. Mde also introduces a new system for attaching the shock absorber to the rear stay with a special fork that clamps the shock absorber and that connects to the rear end via two bearings; this allows a better fluidity of operation and a longer duration. This fork is available in two sizes and allows you to mount shock absorbers with different wheelbases 230mm metric or 216mm standard.
In terms of geometry, MDE has opted to differentiate between the 29 "version and the 27.5" version. In the first case the new frame marks a further evolution of the modern geometries for enduro frames with 29 "wheels with an even more vertical saddle angle (77.9 °) which guarantees exceptional behavior when climbing uphill in combination with the very stable I-link 2.0 suspension; lengths of the top tube and Reach extended but not exaggerated, steering angle of 65.5 °, BB drop 22mm for a height from the ground of 349mm. The new head tube made it possible to have smaller stack quotas, being more compact to the advantage of precision and maneuverability of the front axle. The 27.5 has instead a saddle angle of 76.5 °, reach and similar top tubes with steering angle more lying 65 ° and height from the ground of 342mm.
The 29 "can also be fitted with a 27.5" rear wheel, obtaining a more race oriented geometry.
We recall that MDE offers the Rider tuned geometry service that allows, when ordering, to request geometric customizations. The service costs 150 euros and allows the geometry of the frame to be sewn to suit your needs; many customizations of colors are also available both for the painting, for the decals and the cnc details: everything can be easily selected during the order through the new configurator that has been completely revised and updated.
With the new Damper, MDE also introduces a new series of protection of the frame (chain protectors and bumpers) made of rubber with the 3D printer and the result of the experience gained by the company over the last year in the use of this technology.

PRICES AND HOW TO BUY IT
The new Damper can be purchased as a frame kit, with or without shock absorber starting from 1,690.00 euros. When ordering, you can choose to combine some components in the MDE store with the frameset, such as the shock absorber, the fork, the telescopic seat post and more.
MDE also offers two standard versions that can always be customized using the configurator:
-Race: starting price € 3,890.00
-Comp: starting price 2.990,00 euros
These fittings are designed with a particular eye to the quality / price / performance ratio and are an excellent starting point to which modifications and additions can always be made via the configurator. The customer can also exclude some components when ordering or, if you prefer, can request an a la carte quote by offering MDE its own list of preferred components.
Frames and bicycles can be ordered as of today confirm the order with a 30% deposit. The frames are always made to order and the average production and delivery time is 60 days.
The MDE frames are handmade products made entirely by hand in the laboratory located at the mouth of the Val di Susa near Turin, a few steps from the mountains and the fantastic trails that have always inspired and stimulated the company.
MDE Damper 2020 a unique bike, different from all the others you can sew on, both in terms of geometry and / or colors, handmade with passion in Italy.
