Sunday 4 November 2018 in Milan, at the Ducati World Première (visible on www.ducati.com in live streaming world from 7pm), in addition to the new Ducati models for the 2019 season, the MIG-RR will be unveiled, born from the collaboration with Italian company Thok Ebikes.
The Ducati MIG-RR, which will be exhibited as a world premiere at the Ducati stand at EICMA2018 (Fiera Milano Rho, November 8-11), is a high-end e-mtb, developed by Thok Ebikes specialists who for design and graphics have been entrusted to Aldo Drudi's D-Perf, with the support of the Ducati Style Center.
The new Ducati e-mtb comes from the successful MIG by Thok series, but has exclusive technical solutions, such as the diameter of the wheels and the differentiated suspension range - 29 "for 170mm at the front and 27.5" for 160mm at the rear - that make it a real "enduro" able to satisfy the needs of the most experienced riders.
Equipped with high-end components, such as FOX Factory Kashima suspensions, carbon Renthal handlebar, Mavic rims, Shimano Saint 4-piston brakes and 11-speed Shimano XT transmission, the MIG-RR is equipped with a Shimano Steps E8000 engine, with a 250Watt power and a torque of 70Nm, powered by a 504Wh battery.
The battery below the down tube guarantees a particularly low center of gravity which, combined with a frame geometry and specific suspension for e-mtb, makes the Ducati MIG-RR very manageable and reactive even on the most uneven single tracks.
The Ducati MIG-RR will be distributed throughout Europe by Ducati dealers and will be available from spring 2019.
It will also be possible to order it online at www.ducati.com from January 2019.
