Here's what we think about the Air-Liner, Vittoria's anti-puncture insert.
The green colored polymer is light (after the Airliner cut weighs 175g) and very compact but at the same time resistant and resistant to latex. It has a duration of use of about 2000 hours in normal conditions or one hour downhill without air.
Air-Liner replaces much of the air inside the tire: it deforms when it comes into contact with the ground, guaranteeing more stability and better absorbing shocks. The polymer has grooves on both sides that allow of air and latex inside the tire.

How to assemble Airliner:
The assembly, compared to other products of this type, was much faster.
Cut the polymer of the right size, make two holes with a screwdriver and join the two ends with a band (included in the packaging)
You can wet the airliner with water to facilitate assembly. During the first cut of the Airliner I was very undecided on the perfect size, it would be perfect to have a precise measurement.
We tried this product both with aggressive driving and choosing flow trajectories. With an easier ride the Airliner worked well. Good driveability and excellent grip.
At least three rides are needed to find the right tire pressure, so I recommend testing different pressures and using a precise pump.
With aggressive driving, Airliner worked well on the flow, I found it very hard on rock gardens, but after some rides I got used to the different feeling compared to other polymers on the market. Honestly I had little feeling in berms, I still could not find the right pressure to have good feelings in different situations, but I'm working on it!
Without air, Airliner gave me grip and my rims have no obvious sign.
We recommend these pressures (rider 80kg - light tires):
• Size S: front 1.1 bar; rear 1.3 bar
• Size M: front 1.2 bar; rear 1.4 bar
• L and XL sizes: front 0.8 bar; rear 0.9 bar
Air-Liner destroys the traditional compromise of stability vs. grip, and allows your tires to remain stable, grippy, and controlled, even at low pressures. The Air-Liner is designed using a round cross section, with channels on the top and bottom. The top channel provides room for the tunable air chamber that sits directly beneath the tire tread. Upon impact, the corner edges of the channel flex first, and progressively build to the thicker portion, as the tire is compressed. This allows the tread to remain flexible, which increases traction, without sacrificing impact resistance. The bottom channel allows for easy fine-tuning of the air chamber, and allows for full compatibility of all valve core styles. The round cross-section shape mimics the natural shape of the tire, and supports a greater contact area within the sidewalls of the tire casing. Side-to-side tire stability is increased, yet the tread remains soft and grippy. This improves cornering, climbing, and braking performance.• Protection: Both wheel and tire are protected by the Air-Liner insert. By cushioning impacts from within the tire, your expensive rim remains protected, while eliminating flats caused by rim-strike impacts. • Control: The Air-Liner insert replaces air volume in the tire. The reduced air volume allows the tire to compress and rebound in a more controlled manner compared to standard tubeless systems. • Performance: Side-to-side tire stability is increased, yet the tread remains soft and grippy. This improves cornering, climbing, and braking performance. • Durability: This highly durable polymer material has been tested to a projected life of 2000 hours under normal riding, or 1 full hour of run-flat downhill use under a typical rider. The Air-Liner is available in 4 sizes, and is compatible with all makes and models of tires.S = 1.9’’ – 2.25’’ XC / MarathonM = 2.25’’ – 2.5’’ All MTN / EnduroL = 2.5’’ – 2.70’’ Enduro / PlusXL = 2.70’’ – 4.00’’ Plus / Fat
