I start this article by saying thanks to Val di Fassa APT.
APT has organized us three days to the discovery of a PARADISE made in Italy: Val di Fassa, Trentino.
Seven cities that make up a real haven for bikers.
I want to congratulate for the work, year after year, is leading to have the right cohesion among bike lovers and not, making it the perfect destination for all.
Moena, Soraga, Vigo, Pozza, Mazzin, Campitello and Canazei - the seven countries that make up the Val di Fassa - they have been maintained the high mountain typical character: wooden and stone buildings with breathtaking views of the Dolomites.
Seven locations to be discovered forgetting the car!
I loved the Eco Concept: "The use of the bicycle can replace the machine in most of our movements in the valley, that from physical wellbeing and helps the commitment that everyone can put in the preservation of land, our land."
To program the holidays you can contact Sport Check Point of Canazei, Campitello, Pozza e Moena.
Professionals will be ready to plan your days to live at full speed the Dolomites.
You can book directly to Sport Chek Point all you prefer.
Another great thing is the Val di Fassa Card - free for all guests who spend their holidays in one of the accommodation facilities to the local Tourist Board - with which you can get discounts and special prices on all activities.
We stayed at Hotel Aurora, a beautiful and convenient location, family run, traditional cuisine and cozy rooms where you will feel immediately at home.
A bike hotel equipped with bicycle storage, a workshop for small repairs and free laundry service and after a cycling day relaxing in the Wellness & Spa with turkish bath and sauna.
You can find all the information HERE.
We spent the weekend at Fassa Bike Park and we could ride, for a matter of time, only in the part of Canazei.
We found ourselves in a bike park perfect for lovers of pure DH: you can find the camera we used for the video on NILOX.COM and you can watch our video HERE.
Fassa Bike is an association of friends with great passions in common: from hiking to downhill, passing through the Freeride Dirt-Jump and still northshore, dirt, bmx.
Fassa Bike is the brainchild of Stefano Davarda, freeriders and William Basilico hiker with a passion for freestyle and sometimes even mountain bike athlete and together with Roland Rasom, Matteo Soraperra and Erik Dantone all work together to ensure adrenaline!
The project wanted to bring these realities in an area for which they were hitherto unknown.
Today Fassa Bike care throughout the project management which is leading the development of these disciplines in Val di Fassa. Stefano and William try to keep constant high level for our enjoyment and our security.
We had lunch at Rifugio Ciampolin: a wooden hut and accurate serving traditional cuisine mouth-watering!
Sunny people and exquisite dishes served on a terrace with stunning views.
I recommend the Lasagne Ciampolin: Lasagna with local cheese and porcini mushrooms.
You can find all the details HERE.

For me the holidays are fun, sport and relax: all elements that are present in Val di Fassa.
We have worked hard for two days, but when I looked up and I saw the skyline of the Dolomites illuminated by the sun, the sound of leaves that were playing with the wind, whistling marmots and the smell of freshly cut grass was at peace with the senses: 5 minutes and you were already relaxed.
In the future when I will dream a mountain vacation the first thought will be this week in Canazei.
Val di Fassa: seeing is believing.
